Got any questions. We have put together a list of common questions to help you with any queries you may have. We want this journey to be as transparent as possible.

1. How does the design process work?

After reaching out and making that enquiry, we will provide you with a questionnaire, which will provide us with the necessary information including any inspiration pics and/or reference you may send us to commence with drawing up ideas. We will provide you with three designs based on our understanding of the information you have supplied us.

You then review ideas and provide us with any feedback or your preferred design. Although we have been doing this for many years, we may encounter a situation where we have provided you with something off the mark, so just be honest with us and we can revise  the design.

When the initial design is approved we then prepare to develop the design offering you variations, a sub mark and a mini style guide.

2. How long will it take to finalise my branding?

We generally work on a 2-3 week design turnaround. There maybe times we are on top of it and get to your design to you sooner however factor 2 weeks into your timeframe. If you reject designs, this will prolong the process and we will endeavour to make your job a priority to ensure delay is kept to a minimum.

3. Payment

Our prices will be listed on our website, yet you can email us for a quote if you want to customise your package. A quote will then be emailed to you prior to you accepting it. Work will only commence when quote is approved and payment has been processed.

Design can be time consuming, and it is only fair that we are paid for the work we do. It also isn’t fair on those who have paid as it will slow down how quickly we can get their designs to them.

Once a job has been started, we do not refund based on change of mind. 

4. What do I receive when branding is finished?

When you purchase a logo design from us, you will receive

  • an PDF, print ready EPS files in all various colour formats as well as relevant links to download font files.
  • A PDF, a JPEG or an EPS of a signature texture, pattern or graphic Icon.
  • A PDF Style guide of how to maintain your brands’ look and feel.
  • A PDF and EPS of your sub mark.
  • A Favicon for your website.
  • Social Profile logos in appropriate formats.

When you purchase a logo design from us, upon full payment of the price for that logo design you will acquire ownership of the intellectual property rights in the logo design and this agreement will be effective to transfer those intellectual property rights to you.

We retain the intellectual property rights in each logo design until such time as you have paid the full price for that logo design.

5. Cancellation of order

The design shop does not offer a full refund if you decide to cancel the project. If the project hasn’t yet commenced, a refund will be granted minus 20%. If the project has started, including time spend briefing and research only 50% will be refunded. If by chance you wish to hold the project, rather than cancel, you have 6 months to reinstate the project.

6. How does Collateral designed and created in CANVA work?

Canva is a free-to-use online graphic design tool. Its the perfect and inexpensive solution to create social media posts, flyers, presentations, posters, videos, logos and more.

the design shop will design and create items you’ve requested from the packages available in CANVA. 

Ideally you the client would own a PRO version of CANVA account. The PRO version is a subscription you will have to organise. Fees start from $19.99 AU a month.

We will upload your final branding, logos, colour palette, graphics etc into your account, then create the templates you’ve selected at briefing stage that reflect your brand. Once all completed, we can provide you with an instruction manual on how to use CANVA and your BRAND HUB.

Don’t fret, if you opt for the free Canva version. We will simply create artwork and email a link to access designs on your account. Unfortunately, you won’t have access to a BRAND HUB, however all elements will be stored in uploads, which you can access anytime!  The designs will be part of your projects and are easily editable and duplicated.
